Conflict In Life vs Healthy Living

It is three months before we all start to wind down over the holidays and relax after a busy and stressful year. Have you heard the statement: “You are what you eat and drink”? If not I want to share with you one of the reasons why I believe this is true, and then if your curiosity is challenged, an easy step onto the right path.

Time is out of control, and as they say the older you get, the faster time seems to move. After all, life is like a toilet roll, the nearer you get to the end, the faster it goes… However if we are smart at planning each week in terms of nutrition for our families, we will find that the week is more productive, more congenial, less frantic, and more at peace.

When the body is getting its balanced share of fats, carbs and protein, the body works the way the body is meant to work. When these building blocks are disrupted, with either too much sugar, wrong fats, or not enough of the daily recommended amino acids (protein), the body then gets stressed and that is when the concentration, productivity, and stress patterns change. For example too many fizzy drinks leach the calcium out of your bones, and not enough good quality water results in dehydration, lack of concentration, lack of energy and headaches.

Next Step:
Do a One hour Optimal Health Lifestyle Family Habits Review to identify one thing that can be easily changed to start to improve your family’s nutritional habits. It’s not making major decisions all at one time; it is starting a process to alter at least one of the bad habits we all fall into. For example, changing from tap water and/or bottled water to purified water which eliminates heavy metals and chlorine, will improve the body’s energy immediately.

Each Family is different; it’s all about starting to change a few habits – one at a time. One certainty is “That if you don’t invest in your Health now, you will reap the side effects later”.
